HACKENSACK, N.J. – Fairleigh Dickinson Head Athletic Trainer Nick Hodgman has announced the addition of
Allison O'Gorman to the department's sports medicine staff. O'Gorman will join the Knights as an assistant athletic trainer after serving as a graduate assistant in Cornell University's sports medicine department for nearly two years.
"We are very excited to add Allison to our sports medicine team," Hodgman said. "She comes to us very highly recommended by her peers from both Cornell and Kean University. We feel that she is going to be a great fit with both our department and our student-athletes. We also believe that her advanced degree in Sports Psychology will allow us to provide our student-athletes with an even better experience and we cannot wait to have her on board."
A 2018 graduate of Kean University, O'Gorman earned a Bachelor's Degree, Athletic Training before earning a Master's Degree, Sports Psychology at Ithaca College in 2020.
"I am extremely thrilled to be joining the sports medicine staff at FDU," O'Gorman said. "I am looking forward to bringing my passion for athletic training to the Knights athletic department and being able to help provide an environment for the student-athletes to flourish both on and off the field."
In addition to her experience at Cornell, O'Gorman has also served as a contracted on-site athletic trainer and health care provider with Pivot Onsite Innovations and Concentra.
