How it Happened
- FDU's number two doubles tandem of Autuch and Budinszky earned the Knights first win of the day in a back-and-forth match that FDU won 7-6 (3) over Evan Hine and Jarrett Karnibad, which was the duos first doubles win together this year.
- The Knights number three doubles pair of Dhouib and sophomore Taiga Koyama earned FDU the doubles point with a thrilling 7-6 (6) win against Russell Armstrong and Elliot Stevens after trailing 3-6 in the tie breaker, which proved to be the tandems first win with one another this season.
- Dhouib was the third Knight to finish in singles as the junior posted a 6-1, 6-1 win in number two singles over Parth Sharma and Dhouib has now won all three number two singles matches he has played in.
- Autuch picked up his second win of the day with a 6-3, 6-1 victory against Nick Huynh in number four singles and was his first number four win this year.
- Senior Andris Gudins continued his winning ways in singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Elliot Stevens in number three action and Budinszky also registered a 6-2, 6-2 number six singles victory against Jacob Berg.
- Sophomore Teodors Pukse played a competitive three-set match against Jackson Wood and held on by a 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (7) margin and won the third set 10-7.
- Senior Youssef Sader ended the day with a 6-3, 6-1 win in number five singles over Pablo Martinez Zuccardi.
