Scouting the Greyhounds
Loyola Maryland enter this date with the Knights looking to garner some positive momentum to start this season. The Greyhounds are under entirely new management and are led by Danielle O'Banion, who joins the Baltimore-based side from the University of Minnesota where she spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach. Senior Taleah Dixon, Loyola's second-top returning scorer entering this season, had a team-high 13 points in their opening loss to Niagara and followed that up with a team-high against George Mason with 11 points, and the one-time Patriot League All-Rookie Team honoree figures to play a key role over the season for the Greyhounds.

Scouting the Knights
The Knights are coming off of a season-opening battle with St. John's, where they fought tough, but ultimately were defeated by the Big East foe by a score of 89-68. The Knights had the lead down to eight in the third quarter and continued to battle back, but their efforts fell just short even despite a career night from Dahomée Forgues. In her first game with the Burgundy and Blue, Forgues scored 26 points on 9-for-14 shooting, including six-for-eight from deep. Assisting in the Knights cause also was Chloe Wilson, whose 14 points were second-highest on the night for the team, while she snared in a team-high eight rebounds and four steals. It was a balanced attack from the Knights as eight athletes saw at least ten minutes of action, and all eight scored at least one field goal.

Coach Szumilo's Thoughts
"Winning on the road requires toughness and maintained focus throughout the entire game on playing FDU basketball on both ends. We are looking forward to that challenge."

What's Next
The Knights welcome Bucknell into the comfy confines of the Rothman Center as they have their home opener on Wednesday, November 17, at 7 p.m. The match will be streamed live on NEC Front Row.
