HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- This weekend, the Knights women's tennis team went a perfect 12-0 at the Hofstra Invitational despite the rain shortened two matches on the second day, and two doubles matches unable to be started due to the inclement weather. 

The Burgundy and Blue's four athletes combined to win every match finished and dropped just a single game over the weekend. Amina Lasheen and Marta Bettinelli both went 4-0 on the weekend, while Namie Isago and Aleksandra Vorozheikina went 3-0, with their final singles matches of the day unfinished.
