LORETTO, Pa. – After winning the series opener in exciting fashion last night, the Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team was unable to complete the sweep, falling to the Red Flash 90-82 at DeGol Arena on Wednesday.
Senior guard
Jahlil Jenkins led the way for the Knights (3-9, 2-4 NEC) with a game-high 30 points and made 5-of-7 three-pointers in the loss. Coming off a 28-point effort on Tuesday, senior forward
Elyjah Williams scored 14 points to go along with four rebounds, three blocked shots and three assists.

How it Happened
- With Jenkins serving as the catalyst, the Knights took a 21-16 lead midway through the opening stanza. The senior guard scored 12 of the team's first 25 points.
- The Red Flash jumped in front with 4:28 to play in the half when Myles Thompson connected on a shot-clock beating three-pointer from the wing.
- A first half which featured six ties, concluded with the Red Flash leading 40-38.
- Jenkins led all scorers at the break with 14 points as the Knights shot 43.3 percent compared to the Red Flash who made 54.8 percent from the field.
- The Knights briefly took the lead after the break before a 13-4 run by the Red Flash resulted in a 69-58 lead in favor of the hosts with 6:09 to play in regulation.
- A steal by John Square Jr. led to a corner three-pointer by Jenkins which cut the deficit to six, 78-72, with 3:30 to go but the Knights would not get any closer as the Red Flash held on for the win.

- Jenkins 30-point effort was one point shy of his career-high and the senior added four rebounds and three assists to his ledger. The West Virginia native also matched his career-high from long range with the five three-pointers.
- Four Knights logged double figures in the contest with Brandon Rush and Brandon Powell contributing 12 and 10 points, respectively.
- The loss snaps the Knights' four-game winning streak over the Red Flash in Loretto.
- After connecting on a season-high 11 three-pointers a night ago, the Knights made just 7-of-21 from distance, with Jenkins accounting for five of the seven.
- Senior guard Ramiir Dixon-Conover paced five in double figures for the Red Flash with 19 points as the team made 54.2 percent overall and held the Knights to 45.2 percent.
- In addition to the offense, the Red Flash out-rebounded the Knights 41-29 in the contest.
- With his 30 points tonight, Jenkins increased his career total to 1,484 and moved into 11th place on the Knights' all-time scoring list. He also climbed to eighth in team history for three-pointers made with 152.
- Williams added three more blocks to his season total tonight to raise his season average to 1.3 blocks per game.
