TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer team takes on both conference rivals from Connecticut this weekend, traveling to Sacred Heart Friday before hosting Central Connecticut State Sunday night at 6 p.m., at University Stadium.
Friday's match at Sacred Heart will kick off at 3 p.m., and live stats will be provided for the match by Sacred Heart. Sunday's match vs. CCSU will be streamed live for free on NEC Front Row, and live stats will be available on fduknights.com.
ENTERING THE WEEKEND
The Knights (4-5-1, 0-1-1 NEC) last played Sunday at Saint Francis U, falling behind by three goals in the first half before junior

SERIES HISTORY
FDU has the upper hand in both its all-time series against Sacred Heart and CCSU, owning a 13-5-3 record vs. the Pioneers and a 13-6-6 record vs. the Blue Devils. The Knights have won their last two meetings with the Pioneers, including last year's 5-0 victory in Teaneck and 3-0 in 2017 the last time they played at Sacred Heart. The Burgundy and Blue defeated CCSU last year on the road, 2-1, with
Anthony Herbert scoring the winning goal early in the second half. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the two meetings prior to last year.
SCOUTING SACRED HEART
The Pioneers (1-8-1, 0-2-1 NEC) had lost five straight matches before playing LIU to a scoreless draw in their previous match on Sunday. Sacred Heart has been outscored this season 27-4, having gone four straight matches without a score. Sophomore Segundo Navarro has netted three of the four goals for Sacred Heart. Seniors Robert Strain and Josh Inkel have shared time in goal this season, with Strain making 41 saves and recording a 2.33 goals-against average in 541 minutes over six matches. The Pioneers were picked to finish eighth in the NEC preseason poll.
SCOUTING CCSU
The Blue Devils (0-8-1, 0-3 NEC) have dropped each of their last six matches, including a 3-1 loss to Robert Morris at home this past Sunday. CCSU has been outscored this season by a 34-5 margin, with five different players scoring goals for the Blue Devils. Senior Eddie Yepes leads the team with three assists and five points, and sophomore goalkeeper Jason Dubrovich has stopped 41 shots in eight matches, recording a 3.31 goals-against average. CCSU was selected ninth in the NEC preseason poll.
