LAST TIME OUT
Junior outside hitter Erika Sullivan double-doubled for the second straight outing but the Knights fell in four sets to NJIT (25-15, 16-25, 25-19, 25-22) at the NJIT Wellness and Recreation Center on Tuesday night. Sullivan finished with 10 kills and 13 digs in the match resulting in her team-leading fifth double-double of the season, while freshman Kati Quaintance amassed nine blocks in the loss.

BLOCK PARTY
Led by the freshman Quaintance, the Knights totaled a season-high 13 blocks in Tuesday's match at NJIT. Quaintance racked up a career-best nine total blocks in the match, which is also the highest total by a Knight this season. Classmate Brooke Stevens finished with four and leads the team with 54 blocks on the campaign.

SULLIVAN'S SURGE
Erika Sullivan has busted out this season and leads the Knights in kills, kills per set and points. The Elk Grove, California native has seven matches with double-digit kills this season eclipsing last year's total of four.

SCOUTING SACRED HEART
The Pioneers arrive in Hackensack with an 8-5 overall record and a 1-1 mark in conference play. They have won 11 straight matches over the Knights dating back to 2012. Last week, the Pioneers opened NEC action by splitting a pair of home matches against St. Francis Brooklyn and LIU Brooklyn. The Pioneers swept St. Francis 3-0 but fell in straight sets to LIU. For the second week in a row, freshman Sarah Ciszek was named the Molten/NEC Co-Rookie of the Week. Ciszek averaged 1.50 kills per set, 9.67 assists per set and 4.33 digs per set across the Pioneers' two matches last week. Ciszek's 9.17 assists per set on the season is tops in the NEC, while redshirt junior Liisel Nelis leads the conference in kills per set at 3.54 k/set. As a team, the Pioneers rank second in the NEC with 12.73 k/set and a .183 attack percentage.

NEXT UP
The Knights return to non-conference action for their next match when they host Saint Peter's on Tuesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m.
