TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer program announced its incoming seven-member class for the 2018 season.
The class consists of six international players and one domestic recruit as announced by head coach
Eric Teepe on Monday morning.
"We are very pleased with our incoming 2018 class," said Teepe. "We feel they have the potential to help us continue to challenge for the NEC titles. We know that they will be ready to compete right away and add depth in all three lines. We are looking forward to them being as successful as our graduating senior class when they are done."
2018 Fairleigh Dickinson Women's Soccer Incoming Class
Lea Egner- Midfielder – Oberboihingen, Baden-Württemberg (Germany)
Played club soccer for Vfl Sindelfingen under Nadine Rolser and Eva-Maria Virsinger. With her U-18 Wuerttemberg team she finished second at the German Championship. Egner was a high school teammate and club teammate of incoming classmate Paula Ruess.
Noam Kedem- Defender – Modiin, Israel
Member of the first women's soccer academy in Israel for three years (2013-16). The academy served as the U-19 national team of Israel. Kedem's squad finished third in Sochi (2015), and competed in the European final championship (2015).
Madelyn Robbins - Midfielder – Cambridge, Ontario
Played high school soccer at Jacob Hespeler Secondary School and St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School. Was a member of the Burlington Bayhawks club team where she played under coach Case Downy. Received the ABC award and honor roll for academics and sports. On the pitch, is a two-time OYSL League Cup Champion, a 2016 Quebec-Ontario Cup Champion, and a 2017 Ontario Cup Champion.
Paula Ruess - Defender – Oberboihingen, Baden-Württemberg (Germany)
Played club soccer for Vfl Sindelfingen under Nadine Rolser and Eva-Maria Virsinger. High school and club teammate of incoming classmate Lea Egner. Received 11 commendations from class 5-to-10 and 12 along with a class 11 book prize.
Pauliina Talaslahti - Defender – Espoo, Finland
Played club soccer at FC Bayern Munich and attended high school at Bavarian International School (Munich). Additionally, she was a part of the Finnish national team and earned a second-place finish in the International Women's U-19 Tournament in France. Member of the 2015-16 Bayern State Team and earned a first-place finish at the Bayern State Futsal U-17 Championship in 2015.
Isabelle Udovc - Midfielder – Burlington, Ontario
Played high school soccer at Assumption Catholic and club soccer for Saltfleet Stoney Creek. Earned the 2014 Crusader on the Rise athletic award and won the Ontario Cup and national title that same year. In 2017, won the CASL and Blue Chip Championships.
Christa Waterman - Defender – Perry Hall, Maryland
Attended high school at Eastern Technical and played club soccer for Baltimore Union. Her high school team won the All-Academic Team Award (2014-17) as Waterman was accepted into the National Honor Society. On the field, she served as team captain, while earning All-Division Team honors (2016), All-Country First Team (2016) and the varsity coaches award. In addition to soccer, she ran track where she earned the team's MVP award.
