Ahu Obhakhan was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Division l Team for the second consecutive season, it was announced Thursday.
Recipients of the award are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and given out annually to student athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.
Sixteen of the 33 members of the Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I men's soccer teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA. The 12 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.97, with the entire men's team holding a collective average GPA of 3.91.

A senior and native of Ireland, Obhakhan wrapped up his Knights career in November after one of the most impressive and successful tenures in program history, and will finish the semester with a 3.92 GPA as a Business Management and Leadership major.
In addition to leading the Knights in goal scoring with eight on the season, Obhakhan was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team last month, one of two Knights to receive the honor. In 2017, he became the first Knight in program history to be named an Academic All-American.
FDU finished the regular season with a final mark of 7-6-4 (4-2-2 NEC) and reached the NEC Tournament semi-finals for the second consecutive season.
