HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team will play LIU Brooklyn on Saturday at 2 p.m. over in Brooklyn. A win for the Knights would be a season sweep of the Blackbirds.
QUICK HITTERS
• FDU held its sixth NEC opponent under 60 points on Monday night by only surrendering 56 to sacred heart.
• Sacred Heart only attempted 9 free throws on Monday, which marks the first time this season that an opponent had not attempted 10 or more.
• The Knights came back from their largest deficit this season vs Sacred Heart after erasing an 11-point Pioneer lead in the third quarter.

FDU will try to win two straight versus LIU Brooklyn for the first time since the 2008-09 season. That was also the last time the Knights swept the Blackbirds in the season series. The last win by the Knights in Brooklyn was back in 2012-13, 64-63.
LAST TIME OUT
Madelynn Comly scored with one second left to give Fairleigh Dickinson the two-point win over Sacred Heart, 58-56, on Monday night. The Knights erased an 11-point Sacred Heart lead with a 25-point fourth quarter to a win over a team with a winning record for the second time this season (FDU beat NJIT when NJIT was 2-1). Comly scored a career-high 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds -- season high. Rainey Cox added a career-best 14 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists in 19 minutes in her first start of the season.
ABOUT LIU BROOKLYN
The Blackbirds enter at 4-19 and 3-9 in the NEC, which puts the Blackbirds in ninth and one spot behind the eighth and final spot in the NEC Tournament. LIU Brooklyn has dropped a pair of contests since beating Central Connecticut back on January 30. Shanovia Dove leads the team on offense at 15.3 points per game, which is fourth in the NEC. Freshman Aja Boyd is second on the team in scoring at 11.1. Boyd and Dove are also the leading rebounders for the Blackbirds at 6.7 and 5.7 respectively. Drew Winter is the leader in assists at 46 on the season.
