TEANECK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's soccer team will return to action this Sunday when they play host to Central Connecticut at 5 p.m. at University Stadium. The Knights then head to Washington D.C for a clash against Howard University Tuesday at 5 p.m. Only the game against Central Connecticut State will be streamed on NEC Front Row

LAST MATCH
The Knights are coming off their Western Pa. road trip that saw them nab all six possible points in matches against Saint Francis U and Robert Morris last weekend. Goalkeeper
Jahmali Waite was named NEC Rookie of the Week for his role in both wins, including earning his first ever shutout at the collegiate level. Senior defender
Jamie Leddy was named NEC Player of the Week as well, scoring the game-deciding goal in FDU's 1-0 win over the Red Flash.
ALL TIME SERIES
The Knights are 12-6-5 in their all-time series vs. Central Connecticut, with their last victory coming in 2012, a 2-0 win for FDU. Both team last met in October of 2016, a 1-1 draw. FDU is also 6-1-0 all-time against Howard, with FDU winning the most recent matchup 4-0 last year.
SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
CCSU currently boasts a 5-7-2 overall record for 2017, including a 2-2 mark in the NEC. The Blue Devils have been in a number of close games this season, dropping three separate contests in sudden-death overtime and playing in a total of seven matches that were decided by just one goal. Midfielder Andreas Muriel Albino leads CCSU in scoring with six goals and 16 points on the season. CCSU is second only to Saint Francis U in shots on goal per game at 12.71, and dead last in the conference in goals allowed per game at 1.71.
SCOUTING THE BISON
Howard has had a tough season in 2017, as the current owners of a 1-11-2 record have scored just five goals in 14 games played on the season. The Bison's lone win on the season came back on September 20th, a 2-1 victory at Virginia Military Institute, and they recently dropped their SunBelt Conference opener to Georgia State, 3-0. Interestingly, all five goals on the season have come from different goal-scorers, and junior midfielder Victor Guirma leads all outfield players in scoring with four points.
AROUND THE NEC
FDU currently sit in a three-way tie for second place overall in the NEC with St. Francis and CCSU, all three of whom boast 2-2 records in NEC play. At 2-0 in the NEC, LIU Brooklyn currently sits atop the conference rankings with a little over two weeks remaining in the regular season. FDU's current two game winning streak is tied for the longest active win streak of any NEC program.
