BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Brianna Thomas hit the offensive glass and scored through contact with two seconds left to give Fairleigh Dickinson a come-from-behind 59-58 win at St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon.

"We were trying to move the ball around," said head coach Peter Cinella on the final possession. "We got the ball to Amina and she got a good shot [from the right side]. Brianna then crashed hard, pulled down the 'board and finished through contact. She has that kind of athletic ability to bounce right back up [after getting the rebound] and score."

Amina Markovic's shot from about 10 feet out on the right side and went long where Thomas grabbed the weak-side rebound and scored through the foul of Rachel Iozzia.

Thomas finished with nine points and six rebounds.

Cinella continued, "I am very proud of this team. We trailed for 33 minutes today, but we responded and showed a great deal of courage."
