HACKENSACK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson department of athletics will host its annual golf outing on Monday, June 6 at the Hackensack Golf Club.

This year marks the third straight year that the Hackensack Golf Club will host the Janney Montgomery Scott 26th Annual Knights Golf Classic. The historic Bergen County golf course was designed by legendary course architect Charles Banks. Banks was a disciple of architect Charles B. MacDonald and was renowned for his use of earthmoving equipment required to fulfill his designs, particularly the deep traps located around each green. Under the supervision of the club's historians, the course has maintained the grandeur that Banks envisioned. Golfers will find this course to be endlessly challenging without feeling overly tricky or deceptive.

"As the title sponsor of the Knights Golf Classic, our company can directly impact the student-athlete experience in a positive way," said Fairleigh Dickinson Athletics Hall of Famer Lee Shulman. "Every year, I look forward to reconnecting with former teammates and fellow alumni as we gather together to support the Knights of today."

After the round, there will be a reception, dinner and a silent auction. If you have sports memorabilia that you would be willing to donate? Can you or your business arrange for dinner at a popular restaurant, tickets to a sporting event, round of golf at an exclusive club? All donations are greatly appreciated.
