HACKENSACK, N.J. - Fairleigh Dickinson softball will conclude the non-conference portion of the schedule with a doubleheader at Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon.

The Knights sit at 11-26 on the season and are coming off a 4-4 weekend with a pair of splits in doubleheaders against conference foes Central Connecticut and Sacred Heart.

SERIES SCORE
The Knights and Jaspers already played once this season. That came back in March at the St. John's Invitational, where Manhattan won 11-2 in five innings. All-time the Knights hold a 15-12 lead in the series. The Knights won last year at Manhattan 8-4.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Manhattan is 21-17 on the season and also split its four conference games this past weekend. The Jaspers split with Niagara on Saturday and with Canisius on Sunday. Elena Bowman leads the offense with a, 385 average with 10 home runs and 28 RBI. Briana Matazinsky leads the pitching staff for the Jaspers. She owns a 2.92 ERA over 93 1/3 innings and a 7-6 record.

IN THE GAP…
Reanna Cervantes (Upland, Calif./Upland) recorded her 10th double of the season over the weekend. The freshman is now eighth on the all-time single-season doubles list. The freshman also drove in eight RBI last week to bring her season total to 27.

PORTS PITCHING
The freshman picked up the win in game one against Sacred Heart after pitching five innings of relief and allowed only one run and three base runners. Ports now leads the team in ERA.

GAME ONE WINS
Fairleigh Dickinson has won each of the last three first games of its doubleheaders. Nine nothing over Saint Peter's and 5-3 over both Central Connecticut and Sacred Heart.
