QUICK HITTERS
• FDU and Robert Morris will meet for the fourth time this calendar year -- FDU is 2-1 in the previous three meetings in 2016.
• A win for the Knights would make back-to-back seasons with a 2-1 start to league play. A lose would be an 0-2 start for the third time in the last five years.
• Amina Markovic scored 32 points against SFU on Thursday, that is most points by a Knight this season and the most since Kelsey Cruz scored 30 against Robert Morris on 1/16/16.
• FDU had 32 offensive rebounds against Saint Francis U, which FDU was over 30 since having 30 against Manhattan (11/14/14).
SERIES SCORE
RMU and FDU will face off for the 61st time on Saturday. The teams meet three times last season with the Knights winning both regular season meetings and the Colonials getting the win the NEC Tournament. A win by FDU would bring them level all-time against RMU at home at 15-15.
LAST TIME OUT
For the second time in as many games, FDU has a chance to tie the game on its final possession but the 3-pointer from Courtney Blankenship was no good and SFU hung on to beat the Knights, 82-79, in the NEC opener for both schools. Amina Markovic led all scorers with a career-high 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her first career double-double. Kiana Brown and Lauren Francillon added 10 points a piece. The Knights tried to comeback from an 11-point fourth quarter deficit but could not get level with the Red Flash.
