HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's volleyball team will open Northeast Conference play at Sacred Heart on Sunday, September 27. The Knights (6-8) and Pioneers (5-6) are scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
The Knights have won five of their last six matches, including back-to-back contests this week.
FDU earned a three-set victory over Delaware State on Friday night and won a thrilling five-set match against Rider on Wednesday.
Sophomores
Alex Lolland (Auburn, Calif./Del Oro) and
Carly O'Sullivan (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) currently lead the Knights offensive attack with 100 and 99 kills, respectively.
Junior
Caroline Laton (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) and senior
Maddie Gibbons (Columbus, Ohio/Grandview Heights) are also averaging more than 1.83 and 1.73 kills per set, respectively.
Following Sunday's match at Sacred Heart, the Knights will return home for three straight matches beginning on October 3.
