What You Need To Know: FDU played its best 40 minutes of the season up to that point when the two teams met over a month ago and led for much of the contest but the Bulldogs kept it close and took over late. Tiersa Winder scored 25 points, Ivory Bailey chipped in 19, and Breanna Rucker, who is averaging a double-double on the season, added 19 points and 16 rebounds. Those three players are critical to the team but there is also NEC preseason all-conference selection Jenniqua Bailey who averages 12.1 points per contest on 44.6% shooting. Head coach Mary Burke keeps a tight rotation with all five of her starters, the aforementioned and also 6'2 sophomore center Megan Olander, averaging over 30 minutes per game. Bryant has already clinched a postseason berth in the NEC tournament, while the Knights sit in sole possession of eighth, just half a game above two schools – LIU Brooklyn and Wagner.
