Maddie Gibbons (Columbus, Ohio/Grandview Heights), junior
Caroline Laton (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) and sophomore

Central Connecticut controlled much of the second set. FDU crept back in towards the end to see themselves only down four, 23-19. A Knights' error on the following sequence brought the set to match point. Lolland landed a kill to extend it but a kill from Central Connecticut's Makenna Lommori would give them the set victory 25-20 and tie the game up, 1-1.
The third set remained competitive with neither team being able to grow a lead greater than two. At the 20-18 mark, that changed. Freshman
Rebecca Sabol (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) connected on a kill from senior
