Box Score SMITHFIELD, R.I. - After falling in the first two sets on the road, the Fairleigh Dickinson women's volleyball team gathered behind Two-time Molten/NEC Rookie of the Week
Rebecca Sabol (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) to lift them past host Bryant in the third set. Sabol would register four kills to steal the set victory, 25-23. However that push would not be enough as the Bulldogs ultimately won the game 3-1. The rematch improves their record to 18-11, 9-2 in the Northeast Conference. The Knights fall to just 9-16, 2-8 in conference action.

The first and second sets saw the Bulldogs in control pressuring the Knights on the defensive end. Bryant owned the hitting advantage claiming a .366 clip in the first and .222 in the second. On the right, there was freshman Sophie Hoekstra who troubled FDU connecting on seven first set kills. In the second set, it was the sophomore outside hitter Kiley Robbins who helped steer the Bulldogs' offense landing seven of her own. Each contributed to eventually win 25-11 and 25-13 in the first and second sets respectively.

The Knights turned it around in the third set owning much of the momentum. Senior setter
Allison Butler (Plano, Texas/Plano) contributed nine assists this set including three for Sabol to help steer the Knights offense and avoid the sweep. The other help came late crediting kills for her classmate
Maddie Gibbons (Columbus, Ohio/Grandview Heights), junior
Caroline Laton (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) and sophomore
Alex Lolland (Auburn, Calif./Del Oro) to propel the Knights to their first set victory on the afternoon. The senior would go on to finish with 25 assists.

In the fourth set, Hoesktra helped Bryant regain much of that control they opened with. She added another six kills on .500 hitting to help edge the Knights and eventually see her team to a 25-17 set victory.

Lolland and Sabol lead the Knights with eight kills while Laton finished with seven. Defensively,
Taylor Wyckoff (San Diego, Calif./Clairemont) totaled eight block assists. Gibbons (6) and Laton (4) also added to that column. Senior
Corey Lostetter (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) tallied a team-high 16 digs, Butler tallied 15 and freshman libero
Savanna Wray (Peoria, Ariz./Sunrise Mountain) tallied 12.
