HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team (3-8, 0-1 NEC) continues its early Northeast Conference slate with a trip to LIU Brooklyn (3-9, 0-1 NEC) on Monday afternoon in the first part of a doubleheader before the FDU and LIU men take the court. Tipoff from the Steinberg Wellness Center is slated for 5 p.m.

Last Time Out
FDU struggled throughout its matchup with Central Connecticut State in Saturday's NEC opener and eventually fell, 82-53. Senior point guard Amanda Andrades (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) led the team with 11 points, five assists, and four steals in 34 minutes. Erika Livermore (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) was held to just 10 points and eight rebounds, snapping a streak of three straight double-doubles and she was unable to block at least one shot for the first time all season. The team's leading scorer, Kelsey Cruz (Chester, Va./Lloyd C. Bird), was held to a season-low nine points, including just one in the first half due to foul trouble. The Knights shot just 32.7% from the field and corralled 31 rebounds (15 offensive) but were able to get to the line often and convert on nearly 70% of their chances.
