HACKENSACK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson Knights visit Fairfield, Connecticut, for a televised showdown with the Pioneers of Sacred Heart at the William H. Pitt Center.  The Knights (7-10, 2-4 NEC) and Pioneers (7-12, 1-5 NEC) can be seen live on Fox College Sports Atlantic and ESPN3 as part of the Northeast Conference's Men's Basketball Television Package.  Veteran NEC play-by-play and color duo Paul Dottino and Joe DeSantis will be on the call with Matt Harmon covering the action from the sideline.

The Last Time Out:  The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team fell to Wagner on Saturday evening at the Stratis Arena by a final score of 82-68.  The Knights were led by 13 points from sophomore Malachi Nix (Evanston, Ill./Niles North), while Marcus Burton led the Seahawks with a game-high 22 points.  Trailing 42-31 at the break, the Knights opened the second half with senior Mustafaa Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Neumann-Goretti) connecting on a three-pointer to cut the deficit to just eight points, but the Seahawks answered again and rebuilt their lead to double-digits just minutes later.  Nix, making his first start of the season, led all FDU players with 13 points.  He hit just one field goal, but was 11-of-12 at the free throw line in the contest.  He also chipped in four assists and a pair of steals.  Jones and freshman Stephan Jiggetts (Forestville, Md./Bishop McNamara) each scored 12 points to join Nix in double figures.  Jiggetts was 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc.  Jones was 5-of-13 from the floor and also connected on a pair of three-pointers.
