Erika Livermore (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) added 19 points and 10 rebounds for her third straight double-double but FDU still fell at Siena, 72-63. No other Knight scored more than six points while the rest of the team combined for 25% shooting (7-of-28) with no three's. Cruz went on personal runs of 7-0 and 8-0 to cut deficits down to low single digits but the team could not capitalize and take the lead after holding the advantage midway through the first half.

What You Need To Know: The Blue Devils enter conference play on a five-game losing streak after rattling off three straight victories against UMass-Lowell, Vermont, and New Hampshire but have enjoyed recent success against the Knights under head coach Beryl Piper, including five straight victories at home. In the NEC preseason coach's poll, both CCSU and FDU were picked in the preseason to finish in a tie for ninth place. There is no one CCSU player who averages over 10 points per contest but six players average over seven and there are 13 players in Piper's rotation. Junior forward Kayla Miller has had two double-doubles and one 20-point game this season and leads the team with 6.3 boards per contest.
