The Fairleigh Dickinson women's volleyball team (6-18, 4-6 NEC) will travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. to face LIU Brooklyn (17-6, 8-0 NEC) on Saturday in Northeast Conference action, with first serve slated for 1 p.m.

FDU comes into the match after defeating St. Francis Brooklyn in three sets with scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-21.  Freshman Carly O'Sullivan (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) led the team recording her 11th double-double of the season with 11 kills and 14 digs. At the net Butler would lead the team with 23 assists, while senior Hanifa Addi (Springdale, Md./Charles H. Flowers) would have a team-leading four blocks. On defense it was senior Deborah Hong (Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford) that led the squad with 22 digs, followed by junior Corey Lostetter (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) with 12 digs.

Scouting the Blackbirds
LIU Brooklyn will be coming into the weekend after losing to Seton Hall in a non-conference match by a score of 3-1. On offense the Blackbirds are led by senior Annika Foit and junior Tamara Ignjic with 364 and 337 kills, respectively. At the net LIU Brooklyn is led by senior Vera Djuric who has a team-leading 891 assists, while junior Nicole Okeke is leading the squad with 78 blocks. On defense for the Blackbirds junior Adriana Vinas Joy has a dominating 401 digs. Foit and Djuric also have 24 service aces each, while Vinas Joy adds another 23 to that category.
