Wagner Live VideoTwitter Updates on @FDUWS TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team (11-4-0, 4-1 NEC) continues its Northeast Conference schedule with the final two-match weekend of the regular season. On Friday night, Oct. 24, Sacred Heart (6-7-2, 1-2-1 NEC) visits Teaneck with a 7 p.m. kickoff before the Knights travel to Wagner (7-6-2, 3-1-1 NEC) on Sunday afternoon with a 1 p.m. start. Both contests will be broadcast live on NEC Front Row.
Last Time OutFDU won its lone match last weekend, 1-0, at Bryant thanks to
Connie Lewis (Outer Cove, Newfoundland/Gonzaga )' seventh goal of the season. The win broke a long-standing program record for most victories in a single season, previously 10 in 2003. The Knights outshot the hosts, 16-12, with junior

What You Need To Know: The Pioneers are the only team in the NEC that have four matches remaining and they kick that run off with a road trip at FDU. After downing Bryant, 1-0, in its opening conference fixture, Sacred Heart has gained just one point from its last three matches, at LIU Brooklyn and CCSU, and at home against the reigning champions, Saint Francis University. Senior midfielder Kristin Verrette leads the NEC in goals scored with 11, one more than FDU's
Rachel Hoekstra (Bowmanville, Ontario/Clarington Central ), and the team has seven others who have found the back of the net this season. SHU's senior goalkeeper Talia Schwartz has played in net the entire season, over 1,400 minutes, while making 58 saves and recording five shutouts.

What You Need To Know: This will be a critical NEC match-up in regards to NEC Tournament seeding if the two schools qualify. Wagner sits just one point behind the Knights in the standings. After losing their opening conference match on the road at Saint Francis University, the Seahawks have gone unbeaten over their last four matches; all close 1-0 victories except a scoreless draw at home to Bryant. Junior midfielder Johanna Konrad paces her team with five goals, including two in their last three matches and senior forward Alyssa Azzinaro has tallied a goal and an assist during the team's recent run. Redshirt senior goalkeeper Katie Marcy has been sensational between the sticks for Wagner, recording 71 saves and never having a goals against average above one, which is currently at 0.67. Marcy has made 26 saves over the Seahawk's first five conference contests.
Up NextThe Knights host Saint Francis University next Sunday, Nov. 2, in the final match of the regular season. It is also Senior Day and there will be a short ceremony before kickoff, which is scheduled for 12 p.m. A live video broadcast will begin at the start of the ceremony on NEC Front Row.
