HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's volleyball team (3-15, 1-3 NEC) will travel to Fairfield Conn. for a NEC match up against Sacred Heart (6-11, 1-3 NEC) on Sunday Oct. 12, with first serve slated for 2 p.m.

The Knights took a break from NEC play this past week, falling to Manhattan in three sets with score of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-11. Freshman Carly O'Sullivan (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) would lead the offense for FDU getting 11 kills. At the net junior Allison Butler (Plano, Texas/Plano) would have a team leading 25 assists while on defense fellow classmate Corey Lostetter (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) would lead the squad with 10 digs.
Scouting the Pioneers
Sacred Heart is coming into the match after falling to Stony Brook in three sets. On offense for the Pioneers sophomore Sarah Krufka has a team-leading 214 kills, while junior Tori Kemper follows with 178 kills. At the net for Sacred Heart is is sophomore Marie Zimmerman with 479 assists and fellow classmate Jene Lee with 37 blocks. On defense its sophomore Ana Gonzalez that leads the squad with 239 digs, followed by freshman Makayla Dole with 145 digs. Up Next
Following the conference match on Sunday, FDU will travel to New Britain Conn. for an NEC matchup against Central Connecticut State on Saturday Oct. 18, with first serve scheduled for 1 p.m.
