HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team (1-14, 0-4 NEC) caps its extended road stretch with a trip to New Britain, Conn. to take on the Central Connecticut Stat (7-7, 1-3 NEC) at Detrick Gym in Northeast Conference action on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Knights were defeated at Robert Morris, 66-51, despite leading at halftime and playing fantastic defense for the first 25 minutes of action. The Colonials got hot from the field, and NEC Player of the Year candidate Artemis Spanou came alive after being held to just two points in the first half, including notching her 1,296th career rebound to set a new conference record. Sophomore Brianna Thomas (Baldwin, N.Y./St. John the Baptist Diocesan) was the lone Knight in double-digits, scoring 13. Classmate Anastasia Williams (Central Islip, N.Y./St. John the Baptist Diocesan) corralled a team-high nine rebounds, and junior Amanda Andrades (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) dished out a team-high four assists.

What You Need To Know: Senior guard Jessica Babe leads the team in minutes per game (33.5), points (13.2), rebounding (6.3), assists (5.1), and steals (2.2) while shooting over 40% from the field (44.6%) and from long distance (40.8%). Senior forward Lauren Arbogast averages 11.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in support of Babe but has averaged 14 points per game over the first four conference games, which leads the team.
