M. Soccer Hosts No. 9 SJU Tuesday Night

TEANECK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer team (5-3-0) returns to University Stadium for the first time in 20 days when it hosts No. 9 St. John's for a 7 p.m. contest Tuesday night. The game is a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament first-round contest that saw the Knights pull the 1-0 upset over the 18th-ranked Red Storm in Queens, N.Y.

Fans are encouraged to bring their own seats to the game, which will be broadcast live on NEC Front Row.

Last Time Out
FDU lost at Iona, 3-1, last Saturday and concluded its road swing with a 1-3-0 record. After falling behind, 1-0, eight minutes in, junior Manny Calixto (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) came up with the equalizer to tie the match at 1-1. However, the Gaels retook the lead one minute later and eventually tacked on an insurance goal late in the second half to clinch the victory.
