NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's volleyball team was defeated in three sets by Central Connecticut State by scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-11 on Saturday in Detrick Gymnasium. With the victory, the Blue Devils improve to 10-7 (1-2 NEC) on the season, while the Knights fall to 1-15 (0-3 NEC) overall.

Freshman Courtney Kovensky (Highland, Calif./Citrus Valley) led FDU on offense with 10 kills, while sophomore Allison Butler (Plano, Texas/Plano) dished out 15 assists. Defensively, junior Deborah Hong (Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford) recorded nine digs.

The Knights will return to action Sunday with a 1 p.m. match at Bryant.
