W. Volleyball Hosting Brooklyn Schools This Weekend

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's volleyball team (1-20, 0-7 NEC) is set to finish their four-match homestand with two Northeast Conference contests this weekend at 1 p.m. On Saturday, the Knights will play conference-leading LIU Brooklyn, before facing off against St. Francis Brooklyn Sunday.

Last Time Out
FDU was defeated, 3-0, in a nonconference contest against Manhattan on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Freshman Alyssa McIvor (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo) led the team with 10 kills, while senior Taylor Roland-Buohl (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) led the Knights with 24 assists.

What You Need To Know: Junior Annika Foit leads the Blackbirds with 277 kills, despite missing the last two matches. Fellow junior Vera Djuric has an impressive 735 assists, second in the NEC. In seven conference matches in 2013, the Blackbirds have lost a total of one set.

What You Need To Know: Sophomore Maggie Niu leads the Terriers with 217 kills. Kelly O'Halloran and Kamalei Clifton both see solid playing time at setter, with 310 and 286 assists, respectively.
