The Fairleigh Dickinson University softball team will travel to Queens, NY for a non-conference tilt against St. John's University on Wednesday, April 4. First-pitch at Red Storm Field is slated for 2:30 pm.
The Knights currently top the Northeast Conference standings with a 5-1 record. They are 19-6 overall this season. Senior Caitlin Bradac (Garden Grove, CA/Garden Grove) leads the team with a .437 batting average, while seven other players are batting over .300 in 25 games this season.
Megan Reiner (Los Angeles, Calif./John Marshall) has been sensational on the mound for FDU this year, with a 12-0 record and a 1.34 ERA.
The Knights have out-scored opponents, 136-72, while holding teams to a .230 batting average. They will look to continue the two-game win streak in Queens.
The Red Storm are 13-21 on the season and are currently ranked ninth in the Big East. They are led by junior, Chrissy Montez, who was recently named Big East Player of the Week. Montez averages .359 from the plate and has produced 20 RBIs for the Red Storm this season.
