The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team dropped the final game of its three-game series with Radford, 11-1, Sunday afternoon at the RU Baseball Stadium in Radford, VA.  The game was called after seven innings because of the 10-run rule.  With the victory, the Highlanders improve to 21-15 on the season, while the Knights fall to 15-17-1 overall.

Senior co-captain Mike Eliasen (Swedesboro, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) (5-2) had his first bad start on the mound this season as he was tagged with the loss.  The righty lasted only 3.2 innings, allowing nine runs, seven earned, on seven hits.  He struck out three, walked one and hit two batters.

Radford's Mark Peterson picked up the win as he limited FDU to one earned run on four hits, while walking one and striking out six in 6.0 innings of work.

The Knights took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first.  With two outs, senior co-captain Ryan Kresky (Freehold, NJ/Freehold) extended his hitting streak to 10 games with a double and scored on junior Eric Anderson (Allendale, N.J./Northern Highlands)'s RBI single.

After that it was all Highlanders as they scored three times in the bottom of the first to take a 3-1 lead.  Radford scored two more times in the bottom of the second and put the game away with a four-run fourth inning to extend its lead to 9-1.  The Highlanders added single runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

Radford's Jeff Kemp went 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs to lead the Highlander's 11-hit performance.  Matt Mack added two hits and two RBIs, while lead-off man Zach Costello set the table for Radford and scored four times.
