TEANECK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer team (8-4-3, 5-0-2 NEC) will look to remain unbeaten in Northeast Conference play with a match at Bryant on Sunday in Smithfield, R.I. Kickoff at Bulldog Stadium is scheduled for 12 p.m.

The second-place Knights are coming off another solid weekend at home where they tied Saint Francis PA 0-0 in double overtime and defeated Robert Morris 1-0 thanks to a goal in the 88th minute by senior Antony Moore (Douglas, Isle of Man/St. Ninian’s ).

Junior goalkeeper Jacob Lissek (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Rock Canyon), who was named NEC Co-Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks, has posted four shutouts in a row and now has a career-best seven on the season and 18 in his career, which is good enough for the third most in the history of the program. He also became the 10th player in FDU history to achieve at least 200 saves.

FDU, who stayed at No. 4 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) North Atlantic Poll, has not give up a goal in its last 426 minutes of action, which dates back to almost three weeks when Mount St. Mary's scored a goal right before halftime in the Knights 2-1 win on Oct. 7.

Going into Friday's NEC matches, the Knights were in first place but still hold the No. 1 seed position for the conference tournament because first-place Central Connecticut State, who won 2-1 over LIU Brooklyn but is inelgible for postseason play, gained three points and now have 19, two more than FDU. A victory on Sunday would put the Knights back in first place. Quinnipiac won 2-0 at Saint Francis PA and now have 16 points and can potentially move up in the standings on Sunday at Robert Morris. Monmouth stayed at 14 points after a 2-1 loss at St. Francis NY, who now has 12 points.

Bryant (5-8-1, 3-5-0 NEC), who was picked to finish last in the NEC, is currently in a three-way tie for sixth place with nine points and two matches to go. The Bulldogs have been up and down in conference play and have defeated Robert Morris (2-1) and LIU Brooklyn (4-1) at home and won last Sunday at St. Francis NY 4-3.

Losses have come at home to Saint Francis PA (1-0), at Mount St. Mary's (4-1), at Monmouth (3-2, double OT), at home against Quinnipiac (2-0) and at Sacred Heart (2-1). This past Wednesday, Bryant lost in a nonconference match at Holy Cross on Wednesday, 1-0.

The Bulldogs are led by freshman forward Brett Larocque, who has scored a team-high five goals, including two game winners, and has one assist for 11 points. Sophomore midfielder Connor Norat is also an offensive threat with four goals and three assists, while senior midfielder Ryan Stone has chipped in three goals. Senior defenseman Eddie Curry leads the team with four assists.

Freshman goalkeeper Chris Knaub has started all 12 matches he has played in and has posted a record of 5-6-1, while allowing 22 goals in 1107 minutes and making 46 saves.

FDU and Bryant will be meeting for only the fourth time in series history with the Knights leading 3-0. FDU has outscored the Bulldogs 7-1 since the two teams started facing each other in 2009. Last season at University stadium, the Knights won 2-0.
