The Knights dug themselves an early 13-2 hole in game one before falling 25-9. In the game, the Blue Devils racked up 10 kills with three attack errors to the Knights' five kills and 12 errors.

The Knights were five points away from tying things up at 1-1 with a 20-15 lead in game two. CCSU reeled off 10 of the game's next 12 points to come away with a 25-22 win, however.

The Knights' Meaghan Wheeler (Chatsworth, CA/Chaminade College Prep) recorded the match's lone double-double with a team-high 11 kills and 15 digs.

Kelsey Semler (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) added 13 digs of her own, and Sarah Willey (Abingdon, MD/Bel Air) turned in another key performance with 21 assists on the day.
