The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team swept Bucknell, 3-0, at the Columbia Tournament in New York, NY on Friday afternoon. The Knights won 25-19, 25-17 and 25-18 to improve to 5-8 on the season.
Meaghan Wheeler (Chatsworth, CA/Chaminade College Prep) had 10 kills and Violeta Slabakova (Shelby Township, Mich./Utica) notched nine kills, while Erin Roudebush (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) added eight.
Sarah Willey (Abingdon, MD/Bel Air) had 29 assists and 10 digs, while Kelsey Semler (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) recorded 13 digs. Wheeler also added four service aces.
Wheeler, Slabakova, Willey, and Sarah Berkland (Newton, MA/Newton North) each posted three blocks.
The Knights continue competition at the Columbia Tournament on Saturday.
