The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's basketball team travels to Lafayette University to take on the Leopards on Saturday, December 4. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 pm. In their first afternoon game, the Knights will took to improve their record to 4-3. The Leopards are currently 2-5.
FDU will look to rebound from Thursday's loss to Stony Brook. In the game against the Seawolves the Knights were led by senior Alyssa Mayrose (Freehold, NJ/Freehold) who had her first double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Leopards are fresh off a loss to St. Bonaventure. Lafayette fell to the Bonnies on December 1, 72-63.
In 11 meetings since 1996, the Knights have defeated the Leopards five times including last year's 69-39 blowout at the Rothman Center.
After Saturday's game FDU will travel to New Haven, CT to take on the Bulldogs of Yale. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm. The Knights begin Northeast Conference play next Thursday, December 9 when they battle Bryant at the Rothman Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
