The Fairleigh Dickinson men's basketball team continues its southern road swing as they finish up its two-game road trip by traveling to Farmville, VA to take on Longwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29. The Knights dropped to 0-3 on the season after a hard-fought loss at North Carolina State Saturday night, 77-67, in Raleigh, NC.
The Lancers are 3-3 on the season after dropping a 93-77 decision Saturday afternoon to Campbell.
After playing Longwood, the Knights will return home to Stratis Arena to open up Northeast Conference play with a pair of home games against Bryant on Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. and Central Connecticut State (Dec. 4).
The Series Versus Longwood: The Knights are meeting Longwood for just the second-time ever. The Lancers defeated the Knights 83-81 last Feb. 8 in Hackensack. Longwood led 47-29 at halftime and extended the advantage to as many as 28 points (65-37, 13:58 to go) before the Knights rallied late, while closing to within the final margin with a three-pointer at the buzzer.
