The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team will host the Broncs of Rider University on Monday, November 29 at Stratis Arena in Hackensack, NJ. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm. The Knights will look to improve their 2-2 record. Rider is 0-4 on the season.
This will be the 21st time the Knights and Broncs have faced each other. Rider holds a 12-8 advantage in the series. The Knights last beat Rider on November 22, 2009, with a score of 82-77. The 2009 win snapped an 11-game losing streak in the Garden State match-up.
Before the game, junior Mariyah Laury (Orange, NJ/Orange) (Orange, NJ/Orange) will be honored by the Knights' community. Laury scored her 1,000th point in the loss to Fordham on Tuesday, November 23. Laury became the 14th player in women's basketball program history to hit the 1,000 point mark.
After hosting Rider, FDU will hit the road for a three-game trip. The Knights will travel to Stony Brook on Thursday, December 2, Lafayette on Saturday, December 4 and Yale on December 6.
