The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team fell to host Central Connecticut, 3-0, on Saturday evening. The Blue Devils improve to 16-13 on the season and 10-3 in the Northeast Conference. The Knights fall to 6-23 for the season, including a 3-10 mark in league play.
Meaghan Wheeler (Chatsworth, CA/Chaminade College Prep) led the team with 12 kills and Ali Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton) added seven kills. Sarah Willey (Abingdon, MD/Bel Air) had 22 assists and Kelsey Semler (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) recorded 19 digs. Philbrick posted 13 digs and Wheeler added 10.
Blaike King had nine kills to lead the Blue Devils and Jamie Baumert had nine blocks.
The Knights are back in action on Sunday, Nov. 8 at Bryant at 1:00 p.m.
