The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team fell to host Sacred Heart, 3-0, on Wednesday evening in Fairfield, CT.
The Pioneers (12-7, 5-1 NEC) won the first set, 25-21 and took the second set, 25-14. SHU won the match with a 25-18 final set.
Ali Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton) led the Knights (3-19, 0-6 NEC) with 10 kills, adding eight digs. Sarah Willey (Abingdon, MD/Bel Air) recorded 22 assists, and Kelsey Semler (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) posted 10 digs. Violeta Slabakova (Shelby Township, Mich./Utica) tallied five blocks.
The Knights return home to host Bryant on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2:00 p.m.
