The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team fell to host Robert Morris in three games on Sunday afternoon in Moon Township, PA.
The Colonials (8-16, 5-2 NEC) took the first two sets, 25-11. The Knights (3-18, 0-5 NEC) battled back in the third set but fell just short, 25-22.
Meaghan Wheeler (Chatsworth, CA/Chaminade College Prep) and Ali Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton) led the Knights, each with six kills. Sarah Willey (Abingdon, MD/Bel Air) had 16 assists, Kelsey Semler recorded a team-high 15 digs and Wheeler, Violeta Slabakova (Shelby Township, Mich./Utica) and Sarah Berkland (Newton, MA/Newton North) each posted a block.
Hannah Veith led the Colonials with nine kills and Alyssa Bennett added 17 digs, while Corinne Moser added 16 digs.
The Knights are back in action on Wednesday, October 21 when they travel to Fairfield, CT for a rematch against Sacred Heart.
