The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team was topped by Big East foe Seton Hall University, 3-0, Wednesday, Sept. 10 in South Orange, NJ.
The Pirates (3-4) earned wins of 25-15, 25-18, and 25-21.
Junior outside hitter Ali Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton) tallied 10 digs for FDU (5-4). Senior setter Karolina Kowalski (/North Arlington) registered 10 assists, with freshman counterpart Sarah Willey (Abingdon, MD/Bel Air) finishing with the identical count.
Senior middle blocker Lauren Boothby (/Voorhees) paced the offense with nine kills. Megan Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton), a senior outside hitter, added seven kills.
Fairleigh Dickinson travels to Lewisburg, PA, Friday, Sept. 12 to take on Canisius College at 6:00 p.m. The Knights play a trio of contests amidst the Bucknell University Invitational the following day.
