The Blackbirds put up four runs in the fourth inning on two hits and three errors to take the 4-0 win in the first game of the day.

In the second game of the afternoon, Long Island scored four runs in the fourth inning and added one more in the fifth for a 5-0 victory. Long Island scored its five runs on nine hits and the Knights were much stronger in the field with no errors.

Meghan Doherty (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) was 1-for-2 and Glidden was 1-for-2.

Ashley Buchanan (West Windsor, NY/West Windsor) was on the mound for the Knights, striking out four and walking none.

"We have to show a little more discipline and not make the same mistakes we've made in the past," said Head Coach Dale Martin. "We need to make adjustments in order for us to move forward and play at the level that we are capable of."

The Knights are back in action at St. Joseph's on April 23.
