The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team took care of Manhattan College, 3-0, Wednesday, Sept. 5 in Riverdale, NY. Senior middle blocker Rebecca Tenney (/Tabb) (Yorktown, VA) slammed 11 kills, in addition to notching five block assists and three service aces, as the Knights improved to 3-2 on the year.
FDU collected back-to-back 30-22 wins, before sealing the match, 30-26, over the home-standing Jaspers (1-5).
Junior outside hitter Megan Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton) (Seabrook, MD) tallied nine kills and three block assists, with freshman outside hitter Erin Roudebush (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) (Westfield, NJ) adding the same kill total.
Junior setter Karolina Kowalski (/North Arlington) (North Arlington, NJ) posted 24 assists and six kills. Senior counterpart Ruth Levy (/Cary) (Cary, NC) finished with 15 assists.
Sophomore outside hitter Ali Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton) (Latham, MD) compiled seven kills and two block assists. Junior middle blocker Lauren Boothby (/Voorhees) (Glen Gardner, NJ) contributed 10 digs and four block assists.
