The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's volleyball team lost, 3-0, at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Wednesday, Sept. 26 in Newark, NJ. Senior middle blocker Rebecca Tenney (/Tabb) (Yorktown, NJ) paced the Knights (8-9) with a double-double of 12 kills and 10 digs.
The Highlanders (5-14) notched wins of 30-23, 30-24, 30-22, en route to improving to 5-14 overall.
Junior setter Karolina Kowalski (/North Arlington) (North Arlington, NJ) recorded 19 assists and seven digs. Senior setter Ruth Levy (/Cary) (Cary, NC) added 12 assists and six digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Ali Philbrick (/Elizabeth Seton) (Latham, MD) finished with eight kills (a team-best .571 hitting percentage), in addition to a team-high four blocks. Freshman counterpart Erin Roudebush (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) (Westfield, NJ) contributed five kills and six digs.
