Men's Soccer Battles to 0-0 Draw with Robert Morris

The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's soccer team (8-3-3, 5-0-1 NEC) remains undefeated in league action as they battled to a 0-0 double-overtime tie with visiting conference foe Robert Morris (7-5-4, 2-1-3 NEC) on Friday afternoon.

Elvir Prasovic (Astoria, NY/Newcomers) (Astoria, NY) made six saves in net for Fairleigh Dickinson and Matt Felice (Missisaugua, Ontario) made nine saves between the posts for the Colonials. The Knights out-shot Robert Morris, 18-12.

The Knights had a strong chance in the second period when Samson Malijani (Lusaka, Zambia, /La Sapienza) (Lusaka, Zambia) took a rebounded ball and fired it to the left side of the net, but Felice made a diving save to keep the game scoreless.

The Colonials had their best chance to end the game with a victory when Mark Klabnik (Butler, PA) found the ball in a scramble in front of the net in the first overtime and tried to tap it in, but Prasovic made a clutch save to keep Robert Morris off the board.

The Knights are back in action when they host Saint Francis (PA) at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22.
