Sophomore Erika Livermore averaged 18 points and 14 rebounds per contest during the Knights’ 1-1 stretch in Northeast Conference action to begin February, putting them in a tie for eighth place.
With FDU trailing 54-53 in overtime against Central Connecticut State on Feb. 2, Livermore knocked down a baseline 15-foot jumper to give the Knights a 54-53 lead with 2:01 remaining, which would eventually be the game-winning shot. She then knocked down one of two free throws to extend the lead to 55-53 with 1:20 to go, as the Knights held on for the victory by that same score.
Livermore led FDU with her 17th double-double of the season, with game-highs of 19 points and 11 rebounds in the victory.
Against Bryant on Feb. 4, a 66-53 loss, Livermore led the Knights with 17 points, 17 rebounds, five blocked shots, which tied a career high and two steals, giving her 18 double-doubles on the season, which is the second most in the nation. She has grabbed at least 17 rebounds in four contests this season.
