Junior Florian Schroedl of the Fairleigh Dickinson men's golf team was tabbed NEC Men's Golfer of the Month on October 31 as announced by the conference.
In the month of September, Florian garnered NEC Primer Performer, highlighted by 2-under par, 142, at Hartford, tallying an 18th place finish out of a total of 109 golfers.
Schroedl concluded the fall schedule, finishing 1-over par, 141 at Bucknell, finishing tied for seventh. Following that performance, the Berlin, Germany native, registered a 1-over par, 72, at the Monmouth Invitational. At this one-day event, Schroedl placed tied for fifth. Then over the weekend, the junior paced his team, ending tied for 15th at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate at the Montclair Golf Club (Par-70, 6,503 yds.).
Throughout the fall campaign, Schroedl has played 10 rounds in five tournaments and has averaged a score of 72.7.
