Senior Caitlin Bradac started her 2012 campaign in an explosive manner as she went 9-for-10 with eight RBI's as the Knights won all three of their games this past Saturday at Norfolk St. in Norfolk, VA to start the 2012 softball season 3-0.
Bradac, who collected a hit in her first seven at-bats, went 2-for-2 with three RBI's and two runs scored in the 11-2 season-opening win over Marist. She then went 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, four RBI's and two runs scored in a 12-1 victory over Norfolk St. Bradac then went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored as the Knights defeated Marist for the second time on the day, 9-6. Bradac also earned the start on the mound and pitched 2.2 innings and allowed four runs with only two being earned on four hits. She allowed one walk and struck out four.
