Erika Livermore, who secured back-to-back Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week awards during the month of January, put together the best two-game stretch of her freshman season thus far during the first NEC weekend in February. With Fairleigh Dickinson hosting the first- and second-place teams in the NEC standings, Livermore came off the bench to average a double-double of 20.0 points and 10.5 rebounds. She made 13 of 24 shots from the field and hit on a solid 73.6 percent (14-of-19) from the free throw line. Livermore also contributed 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals per game while staying out of foul trouble against formidable foes down low. The 6-foot-3 post player followed up a 17-point, 7-rebound effort against first-place Sacred Heart by putting forth a monster performance in a win over Quinnipiac. Livermore poured in 23 points, on 8-for-13 shooting, and pulled down 14 rebounds in helping the Knights slam the brakes of the Bobcats’ seven-game win streak.
