Senior Mariana Juaristi was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week for women's golf, the league announced on Wednesday, March 19.
Juaristi led the Knights to a team title at the Lonnie Barton Invitational, hosted by LIU Brooklyn, in Dayton Beach, Fla. after finishing in a first-place tie on the individual leaderboard with a 7-over-par 151 (75-76).
The senior then finished in second place at the weather-shortened Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate, hosted by William & Mary. After shooting a 78 in the opening round on Sunday morning, she came back in the afternoon and fired a 3-under-par 33 on the back nine to end with a 1-under-par 71 in the second round for a second-place finish.
